Classic Dallas Wedding Day at the Hillside Estate

Sydney and Ben are married! This past spring, they welcomed guests to a gorgeous celebration at the Hillside Estate in Dallas, TX. When I think back on Sydney and Ben’s wedding day, the first thing that comes to mind is simply “classic and timeless”. From the venue they chose to their incredible classic car for portraits (and their getaway!), Everything just felt so elegant and effortlessly beautiful for Sydney and Ben’s wedding day.

Classic Wedding at The Hillside Estate

If you’ve never been to the beautiful Hillside Estate, make sure to visit! It’s a stunning French inspired venue in Dallas, Texas. Not only is it a gorgeous backdrop for any wedding day, but the staff provides incredible service from the moment you book to the moment you drive off on your wedding day, making the planning process way less stressful for brides and grooms! One of the things I loved most about working here was the incredible building provided lots of options for portraits. Sydney and Ben didn’t plan a first look, so they both prepared onsite and met during their ceremony. But I LOVED the spaces we found to use for their getting ready photos. Everything was so bright and airy!

Romantic Spring Wedding in Dallas TX

Sydney and Ben’s wedding took place in April and they brought beautiful spring colors into the day – without them being too overpowering – and I think it worked perfectly in the space. Sydney carried a cascading bouquet of muted roses, which I loved. There was still color against her wedding gown, but nothing too bright or powerful. Speaking of her wedding dress, can we talk about her cape!? Her wedding dress had a beautiful bodice and lots of gauzy layers but she paired it all with a cape that looked like a veil as she walked down the aisle. It was such a gorgeous look!!

The elegant details didn’t stop there. Sydney and Ben chose to bring a classic car for their portraits and I thought it looked perfect! I’m always a fan of a good looking car on your wedding day! The muted florals were also featured in their ceremony decor and their reception. With gold accents for their reception, the effect was absolutely timeless and elegant – just perfect for the space at the Hillside Estate.
